Ermenegildo Zegna

Ermenegildo Zegna is an Italian fashion house known for producing quality garments for men in 1910. The house was originally founded by Ermenegildo Zegna and remains a family business today, led by the fourth generation of the Zegna family.

The company is one of the largest manufacturers of fine fabrics in the world, producing more than 2.3 million meters of wool per year. In addition to their own high quality suits, Zegna also produce wool suits for other designers, including Gucci, Yves Saint Laurent and Tom Ford.

Zegna is known for its commitment to quality, exploring technology and improving the production of wool.

Production began in 1910 and until 1930 the mill employed more than 1,000 workers.

Zegna opened its first boutique in Paris, in 1980, and today has more than 500 boutiques worldwide, with flagship stores and mega-stores in every major city around the world. Zegna offerings have expanded to include a full range of men including suits, ties, shirts, accessories and fragrances.

The first fragrance from Zegna was offered in collaboration with YSL Beaute. The company has signed the following license agreement for the production of “flavors” with Estee Lauder in 2011.
