Estée Lauder Fragrance
Estée Lauder Inc. was founded in 1946 by Joseph and Estee Lauder. Mrs. Lauder gained early experience in the industry of skin care and cosmetics under the tutelage of his uncle, a chemist in skin care.
The company initially offered its products through door-to-door sales (door to door) and opened its first store in Saks Fifth Avenue, just two years later.
In 1953, the company introduced its first fragrance, Youth Dew, a bath oil as the double use as perfume. Youth Dew and now continues to be a global bestseller for the company.
In 1964, the company launched Aramis line that produces perfumes and care products for men.
Mrs. Lauder died in 2004, but the company remains in family hands today.
The earliest edition was created in 1953 and the newest is from 2016.
